Japan Trip – Overview

A view of Mt. Fuji in the morning

It’s been a little while since the last post, and some of you readers may be wondering where I’ve been. Well, here are some of the amazing shots I’ve managed to capture during my 10-day stay in Japan.

This is the longest stay I’ve enjoyed (10 days) in the beautiful island nation (not to mention the killing exchange rate that crushed the living daylights out of my purse). The trip included 4 days in the Mount Fuji area and 6 days in Tokyo, as well as a day trip to Yokohama.

I’m still going through my photos and will start posting related articles once I have the materials ready. So for now, here are some of my top-pick photos from this trip. Despite the cumbersome equipment I had to haul around (i.e. Canon 5D MKII, 24-105mm f/4, 70-200mm f/2.8, 580 EXII flash, filters, batteries, and junk), it was well worth the trouble.

Enjoy!

  1. Wow! Nice selection of photos!

It must of been tough to pick only 10 highlight shots out of the hundreds that you have taken! 🙂

  2. The photos for this article are selected from the batch that turned out looking better than the rest – roughly 100 photos. So it wasn’t as hard… though considering the amount of photos I took, it’s quite depressing that only about 100 or so made it past the aethetics test.
