2015 Taipei Game Show – More Gals than Games?

I guess the Taipei Game Show has always been a major event for local game fans. It’s even getting a lot better in recent years, with a bunch of Japanese producers and game directors from big brands showing up to talk about their latest project.

The event this year featured big names like Kojima of Metal Gears series. There’s also announcement of upcoming games such as Street Fighter V: Rise Up and Monster Hunter Frontier GG.

However, a notable change is that the show seems to be looking into other “areas” as a kind of insurance. For example, this is the first time the organizer forked out an area for unplugged games (aka. board games and card games). Even more interesting are the sudden explosion of interest in show gals, cosplayers, and even (yeah, very surprising) adult video actress.

Seriously, why can’t a game show stick to being a game show? I know you got to have income, but seriously… AV actresses on the stage?
